Scrabbling at CCD at Worli, first time ever done anything like this, was fun. Hot chocolate kind of drink, nice. Oh Calcutta! amazing food. Laughter, fun. Good times. And yeah, Sandesh, finally! sweet.

Screenplay, Pre-production

My screenplay is done, first draft. It is titled 'fenêtre'. Sent to 7 friends, waiting for their feedback. Now the work in progress of next steps.

Read a friend's screenplay, interesting stuff, need to read it one more time, felt I missed few things, but well written, so my second read would be better.

Reading a family for every child - Perspectives on adoption in India - An initiative by Catalysts for Social Action - Edited by Shibani Jain. Need to finish this soon, which I will. I wish to adopt a girl child hopefully after 2 or 3 years, once I'm financially independent.

Going to Rajasthan after 11 days regarding my film works, so need to start preparing for the trip now.

Some wonderful great friends are supporting me on this journey of mine. Thank you all well wishers and friends!

Cricket Update ?

I had never asked for cricket update service. Since 17 Jan 2008 this service is on, when I got to know in 2008, in a month or so I got it deactivated by phone and sms. But the service is still on and I didn't even know it till today. Today I got to know because I got a sms from Vodafone that I can send a sms to deactivate as they're charging Rs.49 per month for it. I immediately called Vodafone to get this thing sorted out. The person on phone apologized for the inconvenience but said he couldn't do much about it and suggested I send an email to this email where some one would help me out. I have now deactivated the cricket update by smsing and got a confirmation sms also that it has been deactivated, I don't want any more of this. Now what I want is that I want a refund / credit the amount from Jan 17, 2009 till Dec 4, 2009. So that would be 24 months. So Rs. 49 x 12 months. That is Rs. 588/-. I want rupees five hundred eighty eight to be credited to my Vodafone account. The next phone bill comes, you deduct this amount from that and I pay the balance, for example, if it is Rs.1000 bill to pay, then you deduct Rs. 588, so I have to pay only Rs. 412. Please do this on an immediate basis because I am not at all happy with this. I had never activated / asked for this service and this service is on since 2 years almost!! If I don't see any effect of this on my next bill, that if you haven't deducted Rs. 588 then I might want to discontinue Vodafone as my phone service which I've been using since 2003. I might want to cancel Vodafone service, and I'll go for some other company's mobile service. I will wait for this to effect by January 2010. If nothing is done about this, I'll discontinue with Vodafone. Waiting for your quick reply.

MBP17 is working fine now. Taking backup of almost 95GB, it will take about 2-3 hours its saying. To pick my laptop, I had to go to Powai in auto rickshaw from JVPD and back, so much traffic... 3 hours whole affair, going, coming, and in between few minutes of collecting, checking, talking. Luckily ipod had enough battery for to & fro journey and the auto guy was nice to talk to. I didn't have to pay any expense to the service center. Thank God. Not even the 1500 which was quoted, so it was all done free. The trip was tiring, hadn't slept, so when reached home just slept off after a plate of sev puri from Rama's, good stuff. Now I shall continue with my work and get started to plan the film.

New York. By Kabir Khan. Didn't like the film. Songs were good. Movie didn't work for me. This was coming on TV on Sunday 8pm, but I had slept off by 7:40pm or so, so couldn't see it, anyway it would have been hell watching a movie on TV, with all the commercials. And this movie is really bad. I saw it on DVD.

I am guessing, I think I figured how the logic board would have gone spoilt. I have a feeling the spike suppressor went bad and that might have affected the logic board, coz right now the spike suppressor isn't working and I'm guessing on that basis. I just hope that it has a long life now... I need the machine to run without any hassles for 2 more years. The logic board is in 3 months warranty and I pray all stays well, and other parts as well. I need this machine the most now, due to my script, traveling, planning, camera shoot footage dump thru this. MBP17 will do a lot of work for me for my film, so I need it to be healthy. Please be good. God, as I said to you earlier, you can give me really high fever for a week but let my MBP17 be healthy and alive.

65k & then 60k from them, quote, another person 50k or more for LogicBoard I was so tensed. Arranging that sum would have been tough, I was in a very difficult situation, would have had to break a fixed deposit or something. On time, luckily, Aamir the engineer saved me. He did his best, he got it approved from Apple. What luck! Now praying for a good health for long.

Due to MBP17 blues, I couldn't even laugh much during The Hangover, so gonna try one more time, but the original version.

I really wanted to go for the board games night at Mocha Mojo at Bandra, but was dead tired and sleepy. Sorry about that, next time its happening I wanna be there. Wanna learn Taboo. And play Pictionary, been ages. And Scrabble. Chess would be fun too. And Monopoly too.

Felt like eating at Persian Darbar but couldn't go. Soon will go. Craving for that food.

The Proposal. Funny. Okay movie.

Star Trek. Entertaining. Grown up on watching Star Trek on Doordarshan when I was a kid. Watching this movie was fun.

LogicBoard is going to be replaced free. Backup and LogicBoard installation status and stuff will know by today evening or earlier.

Mac is troubling me these days. Is it because of Apple Application? Just please get well soon. If I was sick for a week with really high fever, my medical expense would have been 1/50th of it I am sure, or probably zero with an automatic natural cure. Hope it all just goes well. Right now priority is the backup of all the data. They're working on it. Will know in few hours. Logicboard quote has given me a headache if not heart attack. I have an option to show to one other person, and he might do things for less price. Lets see now. My advise to all prospective Apple buyers or within the 1 year purchase now, please go for the Apple Protection Plan.
